The Institute of Internal Auditors Research Foundation (IIARF) encourages research of discovery, integration, and application along the broad areas included in The IIA definition that identifies internal audit as an integral part of an organization's governance, risk, and control processes.We invite interested researchers throughout the world to undertake research initiatives that promote thought leadership, create new knowledge, and offer innovative ideas for the internal audit profession. Any research funded by The IIARF must clearly demonstrate a link to internal auditing and the specific implications for the profession.
2012 Research RFPs Released
Internal auditing is constantly evolving, bringing with it new challenges, as well as established issues requiring examination from a new perspective. To support practitioners, The IIA Research Foundation has established 2012 priority research topics and invites researchers to submit proposals on:
Additionally, The IIARF is leveraging the power of the 2010 Common Body of Knowledge (CBOK) by simultaneously releasing four CBOK-related RFPs:
Review Proposal Guidelines and submit your proposal by March 12, 2012.
Researchers interested in submitting proposals on non-priority topics, please refer to our Proposal Submission Guidelines and contact the research foundation for more information.
The number of non-priority projects selected for funding will depend on the quality and number of proposals received and the total dollar amount of funds requested and available.
